Long time, No see!!!

Now that it's has been 1 year since I posted, I decided to update and really try hard to keep up this time!! Its the end of July and our baby girl Chylar is about turn 1! I can't believe it!! Maeci has completed Kindergarten with flying colors and is about to go into 1st grade. Camden is turning 3 in September and is sometimes more boy than I can handle. All in all things are really going well for us. Scott is working in Plano at Bank of America and really likes it.

Long time since I posted!!!

Yes, I am still alive!! Alot has changed in the last two months! Scott got a new job in Dallas so he is gone all week and comes home on the weekends. He is staying with some friends for now and then when school gets out and tball is over, we will join him at our new place.

Maeci just had her birthday yesterday and she is now 5 years old! I can't believe it!! We had a princess party with a wonderful princess cake and lots of presents of course. She is playing tball and loves it!! She is actually pretty good for being the youngest one on her team!! We love to watch her play!!

Camden is 20 months and is acting like a typical 2 year old. He throws fits and screams when he doesn't get his way! He still loves to cuddle with mommy and he actually asks me to rock him!! Of course I can't stand that!! :)

Baby #3 is a girl for those of you who don't know! My due date is fast approaching (Aug) and I am not sure that I am ready for #3 but oh well, right!!? Anyway, just wanted to try to get back on here so people know what's going on with us.

For those of you who are my faithful readers, I'm sorry but I promise to try to do better! It's hard being a single mom during the week and being pregnant! :)

Talk Radio

Yesterday, I was driving home from work as I do everyday listening to Mark Lavigne talk about our wonderful President. I try to be careful what I listen to when the kids are in the car but since Maeci wasn't with me, I had the radio turned up where I could actually here it. Camden was riding in the backseat with his pacifier in his mouth just looking out the window. I was listening very intently when they began playing a clip from Obama. It was about the healthcare system and what he thinks we should do. I, of course, got very irritated and so I said "oh, shut-up." Just as I was rolling my eyes, I hear Camden pop his paci out of his mouth and proceed to say "shut-up" plain as I am typing this right now. I immediately thought "oops, probably shouldn't have said that, even though I meant it." I turned around to look at Camden and he was sitting there just smiling as if he knew what he had said. I am sure it was because he was agreeing with my feelings about our President. I won't go there right now. Too much to say and not enough time!!

Update

Well, I know that I have sucked blogging lately but I figured I should update you on what is going on. I am now 18 weeks pregnant and I am beginning to feel the sickness drift away, thank goodness!!! I am starting to get my energy back a little bit so I can do more than just come home and go to bed. The kids are doing good. Camden is now 18 months and talking up a storm. Maeci is just Maeci. She is getting ready to play T-ball and just finished up basketball. Everything else is going well I suppose. We are getting ready for March Madness and filling out our brackets. Hope all is well with all of you!!

One Proud Mama!!

Maeci has been playing basketball for a few weeks now and she really seems to enjoy it. She is playing on the kindergarten team with all 5 & 6 year olds. She is the only 4 year old and one of only two girls on the team. Over the course of the last few weeks, she has gotten better and she is beginning to get more aggressive. Saturday morning, we were playing the game and she was bringing the ball down playing the point guard spot. In this age group, the coaches are allowed on the court to help the kids get to where they are supposed to go, so, I was standing out there and I told her to dribble into the lane and shoot the basketball. The lane was open and so she did it. She got down inside the lane and shot the ball. It hit the rim, rolled around, and fell through the net. I got this huge smile on my face and got tears in my eyes. Maeci was so excited that she started jumping up and down smiling. She was the only person on the team who had not made a basket yet. I was soooo proud of her and I just couldn't wipe the smile off my face. She made one more before the game was over but it wasn't quite as exciting as the first one. Hopefully, she continues to get better and love the sport as much as her Mama does!!!!

Valentine's Day!!!

I know it has been forever since I have blogged but to be totally honest, I have been to exhausted to even get on teh computer. I am going to try to do better. We shall see, right?!? Anyway, on Saturday, Scott suprised me with a date to our fav place to eat in Dallas. We went to Three Forks and thoroughly enjoyed having a quiet dinner with no kids. We had the famous salad, steak, and chocolate mousse for dessert. It was fantastic!! They also gave out $25 gift cards for another visit as well. Anyway, we had a great time and it was our first date alone in like 4 months. Just wonderful to go out with no children and have some peace and quiet!!! We should all do it a little more often!!

The kiddos!

This week has been so much better! Nothing out of the ordinary and thats the way I like it. Camden had his well care check up on Monday and is just growing out of control. He is now 29lbs. 34 1/2 in long and is in the 95% on everything. He is really starting to try to talk and verbalize things. He is also starting to throw fits which at times is quite amusing and at other times just flat out irritates me. The next time he does it, I am going to try to get it on camera so that I can share with all of you and of course keep it until graduation day!!!

Anyhow, Maeci is playing basketball and she loves it!! That makes me so happy! She is the only 4 year old on a team of 5 year old boys and 1 other girl. She really likes it and my team is doing very well. We don't keep score but you know that I keep score in my mind and we have won both of our games. So, if you are bored on a Saturday and you want to be entertained, you need to come and watch these cute little kids play basketball. It really is one of the cutest things that I have ever seen!!

As for the 3rd, I am going back to the Dr. tomorrow for a check-up. I am 11 weeks and starting to feel a bit better I think. My energy is beginning to come back and the sickness is starting to slow down a bit. Thank goodness for that!! Hopefully everything goes well tomorrow. I am sure that it will. The countdown is on...only 9 weeks until we find out what baby #3 is!!
